I didn’t just pick up a paint set last week.
My huge rose necklace soft sculpture was selected for a regional art competition in elementary school, and I took every art class I could since. Playing and creating is pure freedom to me, but adulting sets us up for a no-win situation. Unless you can see through all the bullshit and connect with your heart early on – then keep that connection. My art is a reminder that freedom, spontaneity, and fun are a requirement to being alive.
