Exhibit at Ryolite Gallery with George Tocquigny

Take a trip to Europe with photographer George Tocquigny! The Rhyolite is excited to welcome one of Castle Rock’s newest landscape photographers to the gallery in the month of October, and we will be celebrating by hosting a reception for the artist the evening of Thursday, October 8 from 5 to 7pm. You’ll be able to take a trip to Europe through George’s eyes and the incredible landscape scenes he’s brought home with him.
The reception will also feature special musical guests Doug Davis & Amy Cotsworth, and there will be light refreshments and snacks for our guests.
Native Texan and resident of Castle Rock since 1998, George’s first passion is traveling with his wife of 46 years, with an emphasis on Europe’s small beautiful villages. Retired since 2013 after 40 years in Corporate sales, marketing, and business development, George and wife Karen have tried to take two major trips per year outside of the U.S. Along the way, George developed a real passion for DSLR photography, but is still learning the craft, and thus has yet to commercialize his work to any great extent. He also continues his love of woodworking, acquired beginning at a very young age from his father who was a Master Craftsman. George and his wife are proud parents of two happily married children, and 3 grandsons and 1 beautiful 3-year-old granddaughter.
