My paintings and sculpture are very personal and pure expressions of the way that I perceive the experiences of life around me. The world is referenced indirectly through the filter of my emotions -an intuitive response that explores the relationship between the emotional and the intertextual. My intention is to communicate to the viewer an identifiable and familiar sensation. By working impulsively, my inspiration flows through the openness in my work allowing the viewer to connect to the piece emotionally.
