I am an artist and art educator living in Castle Rock, Colorado. I share a home with my husband, Brian, and two dogs, Jack and Zero. I graduated from Cleveland State University in Ohio in 1995 with a degree in art education. I received a Masters in Arts Education from Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts in 2004. I currently teach art at Lewis-Palmer Middle School in Monument, Colorado, and I am the Jury Chair for the Castle Rock Artfest. I believe that art is the purest expression of human beings. Whether through the visual arts, music, literature, craft, dance, architecture, or design. Art is purely human. The art I create is from my thoughts, feelings, and the life around me. Whether it is pencil or paint, mixed media or nature. I create art to make a mark on this life.
